On May, 13th, 2022, an informative event was held for the staff and students of the University of West Attica, covering topics such as Osteoporosis, Menopause, exercise, and the Osteome research project. The focus was on exploring the roles of prebiotics and the microbiome in women with osteopenia.
Distinguished speakers/professors from the University of Western Attica, along with representatives from the Butterfly Bone Health Society, participated in the seminar.
Associate Professor and Project Coordinator, Mr. Panagiotis Zoumpoulakis, led the presentation of the research project OSTEOME.
The event was attended by over 150 participants, and the audience’s engagement was impressive, expressing a desire for a repeat of the event shortly.
